Spiritual direction is an intentional time of Spirit-led guidance with a spiritual director where one’s relationship with God is the primary focus. Spirit-led listening reflects, clarifies, and provides insight as a person shares the activity of God in their life. If living in the fullness of God’s love is the goal, then spiritual direction enables us to discern God in every aspect of our lives – God’s meticulous and gentle gifts discovered moment by moment. God is a relational God and gives us the gift of contemplative relationships that help us move us closer to His heart.

Below are students of Throne Room Ministries Spiritual Formation Academy. Students listed have graduated from Year 1 of the Academy and will be mentored through their Year 2 while meeting with you. Stacy Thompson, LMT is a native of Charlotte North Carolina, but local to Lake Wylie for the last 25 years. She is married to her high school sweetheart, mother of two young adults and “Granna” to 3 granddaughters.

After working in the corporate world and owning her own business, she took time off to be a full time home-maker, home-schooling her children and volunteering in her church. However; once her children finished college, she knew she wanted to do something that would help others live their best life. So she pursued a career in Massage Therapy, graduating from Southeastern Institute in 2015. Stacy is now pursuing a certificate in Spiritual Formation to add to her repertoire, believing that healing comes through mind, body and spirit. Stacy believes in holistic healing and she considers it her honor to work with others through the modality of massage therapy; as well as spiritual formation.

When not taking care of her clients, Stacy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, teaching yoga at her local church, decorating or designing projects to build.

I am passionate about empowering your soul to be eternally-focused. I honor your soul’s journey and acknowledge your unique experience. I specialize in listening to where you are and (if guided and wanted) providing you the tools to become more effective and fruitful in your life so that you may live like Jesus. I am a servant that surrenders daily to our Father and prays for him to use me for the greater good.

God has blessed me in many ways:

· Perseverance through suffering and overcoming childhood trauma and neglect to fully understand God’s mission for my life;

· Character – living with holiness as well as moral and spiritual integrity, I honor my commitments made to God, myself, and others; and

· Hope – God revealed and healed my co-dependency by communicating knowledge/wisdom of spiritual armor, love, and boundaries.

If I may share my gift of Holy Listening or spiritual skill-set with you, I would be honored to sit with you and be your spiritual director.

In my free time, I am a mother, writer, artist, yoga instructor, runner, and an environmental engineer. I specialize in prioritizing life goals and effective time management to fulfill God’s mission.
